Simulator news

Simulator Launch

We are so excited to launch our brand new simulator this Friday 4th October!

We have a brand new state of the art fitting facility available to you, our members from Friday. The simulator is fully kitted out with all the latest fitting equipment and we are going to be using TrackMan technology to give you the most accurate stats to help you improve your game.

From 6pm-9pm we are running a Par 3 challenge!

Come and check it out and get involved - The winner gets to chose either a FREE gapping session OR a FREE ball fit. Food and drink will be available throughout the evening, we can' wait to see you there!

The simulator offers a range of options for both improving your game or simply having a good time with friends.

If you don't fancy braving the cold & wet then the studio is the perfect place for you to continue to hit some balls throughout the winter!

TrackMan Services

What does TrackMan measure?

TrackMan measures both clubhead and golf ball data to give the most accurate shot analysis. This provides factual information to make measurable improvements in your game.

TrackMan is a brilliant tool to use in any coaching session irrespective of what level you currently play at. Basing decisions on factual information helps to identify any problem areas faster and helps us to get to the solution quicker.

Adapt your game for winter

Just because the weather has turned chillier and course conditions are beginning to get trickier, it doesn’t mean you need to hibernate your clubs for the winter. In fact, quite the opposite, as a couple of simple adaptations to the way you play will ensure you continue to get the most out of your game.

Putting

The putting surface is finely cut throughout summer and although our greenkeepers continue to do an excellent job in winter, the grass tends to remain slightly longer in the colder months thus requiring a bit more oomph to get the ball to the hole.

Clothing

The latest golf-specific clothing retains heat whilst remaining incredibly lightweight so you have complete freedom of movement on the course. So, leave the baggy jacket at home and make sure you have some of the latest golf attire in the bag.

Change your ball?

Maybe it’s time to go for a golf ball that prioritises distance in the winter? We all know that the ball doesn’t travel or roll as far in the wetter months, so pop in to see us next time you are at the club and we can guide you through the best options available.
